I haven’t forgotten this, and I’ve added new art from Midwest Furfest to the commissioned art gallery. This year has just been such a clustercuss with personal and family medical issues, a ton of travel, and feeling like I’ve barely had the time or energy to work on art. It felt good to work on things at MFF, but it was also exhausting and I haven’t managed to pick up a pencil since then.

The impinged nerve in my right arm is improving, but I still have to baby it. I’m also now dealing with an issue with my eyes that requires an MRI to try and figure out what’s going on. Needless to say, I’m a wee bit distracted.

Starting Fresh

Well, it’s been an interesting couple of days figuring out how WordPress works and setting things up, but I’m mostly happy with the site now. So why the new look? Well, my previous site’s close to a decade out of date and some of the features are broken beyond my ability to fix. I’m an artist, not a coder, so this format’s a lot easier for me to update and change. Hopefully that will allow me to post more art, more frequently!

Unlike some of my other galleries, I think I’m going to limit myself to just uploading The pieces I like best, or that best showcase my work. If you’d like to see a larger range of my art, check out the Contact page for more helpful links! I’m also including some of the nature photography I’ve done just for balance. Mostly those are pics I’ve snapped to use for my own illustrations for backgrounds and other reference elements, but they’re pretty so I’m posting them anyway. =3
